Akademiet for de Tekniske Videnskaber has awarded Alexander Zelikin the Danish Polymer Prize of 100.000 DKK
Alexander Zelikin designated by the award committee as ” a young, promising and internationally recognized talent in the development of functional polymers ” . His basic research could eventually pave the way for new and effective types of treatment , especially against viral diseases. The motivation for the awards highlighted that professor Alexander Zelikin single-handedly built a functioning research laboratory at the University of Aarhus , and that despite his young age has an extensive scientific production by more than 80 peer-reviewed publications and more than 3,000 citations .
